Dubai airline flydubai has resumed flights to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. From January 23, 2023, flights to Ashgabat International Airport (ASB) will operate twice a week.
With the resumption of flights to Ashgabat, flydubai has expanded its network in Central Asia to nine locations in five countries. This includes Almaty, Ashgabat, Astana, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Namangan, Osh, Samarkand, Tashkent.
From January, the airline will also launch flights to seven new destinations, including Cagliari, Corfu, Gan, Krabi, Milan Bergamo, Pattaya and St. Petersburg, bringing its Network expanded to 116 destinations in 53 countries.
Ashgabat, the capital and largest city of Turkmenistan, is nestled between the vast Karakum Desert and the Kopeda Mountains. The city is known for its rich white marble buildings and magnificent national monuments.
Flights operate between Terminal 2, Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Ashgabat International Airport (ASB) once a week, once a week, four times a week. Emirates will codeshare on the route, giving passengers more options to connect through the Dubai International hub.
