The airline is honored to participate in this special show with the UAE Air Force Aerobatic Team Al Fursan on the closing day of the air show. The maximum range of the aircraft is 6,560 kilometers, which is 370 kilometers longer than its predecessor. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is powered by two cutting-edge CFM International LEAP-1B engines, each capable of generating 28,000 pounds of thrust. Compared with earlier models, fuel consumption, emissions and noise have all been significantly improved. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 has a maximum take-off weight of 82,190 kg, a wingspan of 35.9 meters, and a length of 39.52 meters.
Flydubai operates 18 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft as part of a wider fleet, including 3 Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft, 34 next-generation Boeing 737-800 and 55 Boeing 737 models.
