flydubai takes part in the special formation flying at the Dubai Airshow – Dubai Blog

The airline is honored to participate in this special show with the UAE Air Force Aerobatic Team Al Fursan on the closing day of the air show. Flydubai’s Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft joined the formation, with Captain Rodrigo Barradas from Brazil, Captain Alessio Desideri from Italy and Sultan Alsharif from the UAE on the flight deck

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft uses a configuration of 10 business class flat seats and 156 economy class seats to provide flexibility, reliability and efficiency to the single-aisle market. MAX business seats take comfort to a new level, focusing on space, privacy, rest and entertainment, while MAX economic seats provide comfortable and comprehensive entertainment options through an 11.6-inch high-definition screen.

The maximum range of the aircraft is 6,560 kilometers, which is 370 kilometers longer than its predecessor. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is powered by two cutting-edge CFM International LEAP-1B engines, each capable of generating 28,000 pounds of thrust. Compared with earlier models, fuel consumption, emissions and noise have all been significantly improved. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 has a maximum take-off weight of 82,190 kg, a wingspan of 35.9 meters, and a length of 39.52 meters.

Flydubai operates 18 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft as part of a wider fleet, including 3 Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft, 34 next-generation Boeing 737-800 and 55 Boeing 737 models.
