Making outdoor plans? If you are in Abu Dhabi early in the morning, beware of the fog. The National Meteorological Center issued a yellow weather alert, warning motorists to exercise caution while driving across most of Abu Dhabi, all of Al Ain and parts of Dubai.
The NCM alert highlighted areas where fog could form early Sunday.
“Fog formation is possible with reduced horizontal visibility, at times decreasing further in some coastal and inland areas … until 9:00 am,” the alert read.
Sharing the weather forecast for the day, the NCM said: [The weather will be] Generally sunny to cloudy. Humidity will increase overnight and Monday morning, with some coastal and inland areas likely to experience fog or mist. “
The NCM added that there will be a gradual blow across the sea overnight, with light to moderate winds. “Sea conditions will be light to moderate, moving westwards offshore the Arabian Gulf at times overnight and Monday morning, becoming light off Oman.”
The country is expected to hit a maximum of 32°C today. High temperatures are expected to reach 25-30°C in coastal areas. In the interior, maximum temperatures will be between 27-32°C and in the mountains 17-13°C.
