Selling agent Foxglove Entertainment, sister company to Priscilla Ross Smith’s The Coven, is discussing the documentary with buyers at Mipcom small heart After pediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. William Novick.

Chris dela Cruz, who has directed short documentaries, digital campaign ads and music videos, is currently directing Tiny hearts and accompanied Novick to Ukraine in the days following the Russian invasion earlier this year. The film will also highlight doctors’ own health challenges.
Eight-time Grammy winner Philip Lawrence, who has worked with the likes of Adele and Bruno Mars, will compose the soundtrack. Production is expected to finish filming by the end of the year after traveling to Iraq and Libya.
“My concerns about my own safety in Ukraine disappeared when I saw the helpless and hopeless mothers and fathers who believed that Novick and his team could save their children’s lives,” Dela Cruz said. Random blackouts, air raid sirens that go off throughout the day to warn us of potential missile strikes are all set aside while children’s chests are open and their little hearts are repairing.”
“It took an amazing man to get somewhere when others were fleeing,” said Smith, founder of Novick’s Foxglove. “His quest to save children was relentless.” Foxglove stands for global rights.
Smith recently announced the hiring of industry veterans Kendall Anlian As The Coven’s global president of film and television.
