Frisco music and restaurant complex to launch on Dallas North Turnpike

A long-delayed Frisco entertainment venue may finally be moving forward.

Back in 2018, plans were drawn up for a $40 million Music City entertainment and restaurant complex on the Dallas North Turnpike north of Warren Parkway.

The Frisco Music City site is across the toll road from the Dallas Cowboys Star complex.

Plans for the project include an indoor theater with more than 1,000 seats, a 390-seat outdoor stage and restaurant.

The development property is owned by the Frisco Economic Development Corporation. Dallas-based Hodges Architecture is designing the project.

According to the new information, Music City’s update plans call for a building of more than 63,000 square feet, which will include “a concert hall and its annexe rooms for loading, dressing and making, dining areas, wine tasting and bar areas, as well as a Attached kitchen for seating area”. Music City is scheduled to begin construction by the end of this year and open in early 2024.

Frisco is just one of several cities on the outskirts of Dallas with new entertainment venues.

Located at Alma Drive and SH 121, The Hub will include 23,000 square feet of restaurant space, event lawn space, a plaza and a 2-story restaurant.

It is part of a 135-acre farm complex development on State Route 121.
