G42 partners with Microsoft to drive UAE digital economy

The G42 and Microsoft have announced their intention to collaborate on the development of public sector and industry-focused solutions that will leverage Microsoft’s partner ecosystem and cloud capabilities. These solutions will benefit UAE organizations to meet the needs of citizens and customers.

Formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the G42 venue, the agreement will allow both organizations to further explore joint business development and marketing opportunities in various areas covered by the G42, including healthcare, energy, public sector digital transformation, financial services, climate action, etc. G42 Cloud will work closely with Microsoft to enable joint solutions to be developed and deployed securely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Naim Yazbeck, General Manager, Microsoft UAE, commented: “Organizations around the world, especially those in the public sector, are increasingly looking for bespoke cloud solutions that offer more choice and flexibility. I am very excited about the potential to come, and I look forward to combining Microsoft’s focus on resiliency, agility and security with G42’s unique capabilities and vision.”

Kiril Evimov, CTO of G42 Group and Chairman of G42 Cloud, said: “G42 is keen to work closely with Microsoft to create a value proposition that not only better serves ordinary customers, but more importantly, promotes innovation in the technology community. and agility in the UAE and the region. The broad range of solutions developed by G42 and our customers will benefit from the rich ecosystem and global scale that Microsoft offers. Microsoft will likewise benefit from G42 Cloud’s focus on operating regulated workloads across multiple industries experience and know-how.”

The two companies will work in the coming months to complete the development needed to ensure compliance in order to serve customers in the market. — trade arab news agency
