Geek Express supports tech education in the MENA region

[ad_1]

Online tech school Geek Express offers young students from across the MENA region an opportunity to realize their tech dreams through the Silicon Valley App Development Competition.

The second annual competition, powered by Geek Express, offers tech enthusiasts aged 8 to 15 an opportunity to learn and develop their coding skills through app development courses offered in Arabic, English and French.

Students from schools, STEM academies and event centers can compete in a fun and engaging environment to test their coding and design skills to win the ultimate tech prize – an all-expenses-paid trip to tech hub Silicon Valley.

Level 3

Students participating in the Geek Express app development track have until May 29 to participate and submit their entries. The Application Development Track is a Level 3 program that prepares students for the competition. Microsoft Certified Geek Express trainers support and guide young people until participants can fill out the entry form. Competition registration opens in April 2023 and will close on May 2.

On 8 June 2023 in Abu Dhabi, the top 10 entrants will be selected and given the opportunity to present their final pitches according to the theme. Final pitches will be judged by a committee of technology experts and industry leaders, with two lucky finalists winning sponsored trips to Silicon Valley – the world’s hub for advanced technology and innovation.

They can visit the headquarters of global technology companies such as Google, Meta, Apple, etc. Winners will learn about the key technological advances of our time through immersive workshops and be mentored by resident professionals involved in programs at Stanford University, Google Headquarters, and the HP Garage.
