Imagine having an assistant at home or at work. It can listen, perceive and process your commands 200 times faster than anyone else? Or a robot will drag your floor and load your washing machine-even playing and chatting with you when you are in a bad mood?
The German company Neura Robotics showcased a series of such robots at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (Gitex) in Dubai. These robots have cognitive capabilities that enable them to think, hear, see and feel like humans.
The company also hopes to launch a domestic autonomous robot for housework, which can also double as a playmate and conversation.
Neura Robotics CEO David Reger (David Reger) talked about their unique robot series, which will be shown in the UAE for the first time and released early next year. He told Khaleej Times: “Our motto is’We Serving humans”, so we have developed robots that will never harm humans. The 360-degree sensor connected to them helps them understand the difference between people and objects. Although a robot usually does not have a system to know whether it is interacting with a person or an object, this is the first system in the world that understands the difference. “
Reger said that this home assistant robot will be available in February 2022. “By the beginning of next year, you can get an artificial intelligence-supporting home assistant robot with human cognition, sense, hearing and vision, and artificial intelligence-a mind that can understand and predict things. You can order it or provide it with information, So that it runs automatically without you even having to say anything. For example, you can order it or provide it with information to complete all types of tasks that you want your assistant to complete at home, such as picking up items, organizing the house, loading the laundry Dishwashers or washing machines, mops, dust removal and surface cleaning are something other robots have never done before.”
He added that our goal is to show that the robot is a multifunctional tool that can have eyes, ears and language.
Reger added that the weight of this home assistant robot will not exceed 16 kg, so it is flexible, affordable and easy to move. “The robot has a platform that can move on wheels, and an 890 mm robotic arm that can lift objects weighing up to 6 kg. The robot also has voice recognition technology that can convert voices into colors, and then use colors through artificial intelligence. Recognition to recognize different sounds. This helps it listen to your voice and commands while filtering out other sounds, even if they are very loud.”
When referring to other larger robots used in industrial applications, Reger said that the same technology and different settings are used in many places, from workplaces to stores and medical centers.
“From breast cancer screening to massage, kitchen automation, car welding, laboratory automation, providing assistance in manufacturing, logistics, dentistry and even surgery, our robots are basically’collaborative robots’, which means they are compatible with Humans work together and provide help they can complete tasks faster, without too much manpower, with high precision and error-free results.”
When talking about the “collaborative robot” named Maira, Reger said: “These multi-sensing intelligent robots have been used in stores. They can assist in fetching things and provide services to customers. Customers can use their voices or even by pointing at them. Order what you want. Maira will interact with you like a human, it will ask you and confirm your requirements with you. Robust and robust design combines the performance of high-end machines with simple programming and unlimited interaction possibilities ——Whether it is a beginner or an expert.”
