Explain the background of you and the Company in detail
I have always been into business, economics, and sustainability, and my career is oriented around these fields of work. About my background, I studied Business Administration at The London School of Economics.
I am co-founder of a Green-tech company, Vezua, an omnichannel sustainability marketplace in my country, Italy. I am also a board member of the Italian holding 76 Investimenti which deals with green startup investments and advisory. In October 2021, I was selected by Ashoka as one of the 25 U30 young entrepreneurs to be part of the European Commission task force of Changemakers network for the EU GEN-C Project promoted by Horizon EU and Agenzia Italiana Giovani.
In the same year, I ranked the 2021 World CEO Award classify, and in 2022 I was featured in the Top European 100 Women in Entrepreneurship and Social Impact.
Now I’m located in Dubai, where I work as UAE Partnership Facilitator for Companies and UAE Investments Advisor, as well as European Commission Changemaker to connect, develop and grow companies from Europe and worldwide.
At the moment, I am also working on a personal huge project to reshape the UAE and improve the growth of this country to be even more recognized and appreciated as an Innovation Hub for Tech and Sustainability, among all the other places in the world.
Recently I also started a great collaboration with Angelo Paradiso, a very hardworking and far-sighted businessman who had a great career in football, by playing in the Serie A League for italian teams. He will help me with his capabilities and competencies in internationalization and events management, through we can offer exclusive services for companies and professionals who want to be in UAE and GCC countries.
What are your goals?
We want to be a bridge between UAE and all the Companies or professionals who want to be here, by providing them high-quality services, big events organization and internationalization procedures on the basis of what they need, thanks to our huge network of contacts with local partners, institutions, companies and authorities all around the world.
On the other side, about the new sustainability project, the main goal will be to create an entertainment and learning environment where people can learn, discover and at the same time create impact. We would like this space to be the “heart of the earth” to change the rules and make the trade an act to create social and environmental value in all its shades. We want people to understand that they have the big power to decide the kind of society they want, thanks to their choices, their purchases, and actions.
We want to give them the possibility to enjoy and understand the complexity and fascinating mechanisms of our Earth’s ecosystems on all its Continents. We want it to be the first and biggest Earth Center Hub, which I like to describe as “The Heart of the Earth.”
I recognize that this is a huge project, for which we would involve the most important personalities, scientists, and economists, all reunited with Governments, authorities, and companies to build a permanent Tech-Park and Hub of the future in UAE, where there will be scientific laboratories, public educational activities for people and more.
I think UAE is the best country to develop it because of its international influences and big innovations in sustainability and green economy to tackle the SDGs challenge. We will reshape the future starting from here.
What do you feel is the biggest strength of yourself/Company right now?
There is no doubt that in helping people and companeis to internationalize and come to UAE, our strenght is due for sure to the big network of contacts we have, buildt durint our persoanl entrepreneurial and social career path.
About the sustainability project, I think our biggest strength is “timing,” the perfect solution at the perfect time. Nowadays, being on the market is related to the capability to identify the real needs and requirements of people to provide products and services suitable for solving them while respecting society and the environment.
All the companies must redefine their mission and culture in the light of this present “historical moment,” which requires integration between economic, social, and natural capital. At the same time, we also have the advantage of being the first to build an innovation and entertainment-education Tech-Park like this.
What was the path you/your Company took to get to where you are today?
Our path comes from different backgrounds and job fields, but the mixture of all these things is our power, the power of diversification that perfectly match a project built for the entire world. We are still at the beginning with the aim to reshape the future and bring social impact all around the world.
We have reunited our competencies and networks to work together for the same global goal.
Why did you start (or want to be the head of) this Company?
Because I want to leave this world in a better condition, and I will always spend my life to better reach this goal by my side. I am grateful for life; generating impact is not about personal achievement but something to share with the world and possibly something which has to remain forever, even when we will physically leave this life. Still, our ideas and good actions will survive, and we will be with them.
One of my favorite business personalities, Peter Drucker, said, “Innovation is the specific tool of entrepreneurship. The act that favors success with a new ability to create well-being.”
I live by this idea. Drucker’s idea of the manager is extremely modern. For Drucker, no manager can define himself as such if he cannot innovate, have foresight, and have resilience.
Anticipating the times and seeing beyond what is already evident means knowing how to analyze the era in which we are (economic, social, political, environmental factors) and then get to intercept what the real social needs are and respond with adequate services/products. It is exactly what we do.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Internationalize companies or professionals is always challenging because it require to interconnect lots of needs and making linkages at different levels: events, marketing, targets, missions etc; everything have to be perfectly executed but the diversification of our competeces is what let us to be successful in the aims.
For the greentech park, when it comes to sustainability, nothing is easy because many still think that sustainability is something for riches, but it is not true. Our challenge is to make people understand this concept and the importance of preserving our nature. At the same time, to make people understand how many social processes and activities can be reshaped by taking examples from natural processes (this concept is called bio-mimesis).
In fact, every process in society depends on the availability of natural stocks in each sector: from agriculture to transport, buildings, and so on. Conserving ecosystems means protecting the economy, health, and public spending.
Resources exploitation and externalities threaten the stability of economic systems and health care. The solution to reverse this trend could be to generate profits and use them to create shared value for the community by implementing a circular economy where every waste is transformed into a new resource for new business processes.

Starting a new week that makes me to be closer to my goals.
What do you value most about your culture and vision?
I think the biggest value of my culture and vision is always thinking at a humanitarian level, always caring about human consequences and the impact of actions, integrated with the environmental aspect.
What are the strategies of your Company, and how do they stand unique from your competitors?
The greatest force of our Company, which distinguishes us, is that we don’t see competitors or enemies but just other companions with other competencies who can be part of our projects because we are all going in the same direction. We are all under the same sky, on the same Earth, on the same Planet. When it comes to humanity and global improvement, there are no competitors.
Also, if you think you can really provide the best quality services, you don’t have to worry about others but just try to create good connections and everything will be fine, because at the end, everyone want to win the game and we know that working honestly will help us and all the others too. It doesn’t need to be in a war.
What are the key values which helped you to overcome the roadblocks/challenges in your career?
The security that what we are doing is something that will reshape the world.
We are led by passion, love for our profession, and great impact hunger.
In particular, when we knew each other, me and Angelo we understood that it would have been great to work together not only because we have a big network of different international contacts that can help our clients, but we also discovered to be deeply vision-driven both.
We want to bring impact wherever we go and we live for new challenges because we see them not as obstacles but like aims to be reached.
How do you see the Company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?
We are sure that we will not only help companies and people to be here in UAE, but our goal also include to better spread the culture and the business opportunities that this country is able to give. Then, in doing so, we are sure that UAE will be even more recognized and appreciated, like a “holy-land” to invest in.
About the other project, I already see in my imaginations the first day when the Tech Park will open. I look forward to seeing people who enjoy it, learn, and discover the secret of our Mother Earth and the truth about sustainability.
Also, I look forward to welcoming the many new innovations which will be discovered and created in our sustainability laboratories for a great world impact.
What are the services/solutions or products offered by your Company on par with the current industry standards? Tell us something about your upcoming products or services?
We always work with highest-profile people, we follow all the procedures for our clients and we can offer tailor-made services, because we care about everyone will receive what really need to have success in UAE.
On the other hand, from the innovative sustainable entertainment and educational Tech-Park, people will have the possibility to discover all the world’s ecosystems in one hub.
They will learn, they will have fun, they will see experiments, and at the same time, we will develop an interesting card which will give them discounts and access to lots of sustainable places and activities thanks to partnerships with companies in hospitality, transportation, entertainment, education and more. It will be another way to learn and have fun simultaneously in a completely new way never seen before.
