Three global celebrities, meditation guru Deepak Chopra, former Manchester United captain Patrice Evra and former American professional basketball player Metta World Peace signed a letter of commitment to establish their respective businesses in China Abu Dhabi.
This The signing ceremony took place on Thursday during the Celebrity Entrepreneur World Cup event at Abu Dhabi Financial Week.
Hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Market, ADFW 30 separate events are being held, including FinTech Abu Dhabi, hosting 500 senior investors from around the world.
The celebrity entrepreneur’s visit to the UAE capital forms part of Maven Global Access’ business expansion programme, visit abu dhabiwhich is supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.
Mr Adio said in a statement on Thursday that Mr Chopra will enter Abu Dhabi’s Web3 ecosystem through his ChopraVerse, a platform for enhancing the culture of happiness in the metaverse.
Evra will launch a new content company, while XvsX Sports, under the peaceful Artest Management Group, will bring the competitive basketball experience to the Emirates.

The Access Abu Dhabi program is supporting Celebrity’s rapid expansion into the UAE capital.
Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s economies have rebounded strongly from the coronavirus pandemic, supported by higher oil prices and government-backed growth projects.

The Metaverse is an emerging space where people can interact in virtual worlds as avatars or three-dimensional representations. It is part of Web3the next evolutionary step of the Internet, whose core components include blockchain, decentralization, openness, and greater user utility.
“It’s clear to me that now is the perfect time to bring the men’s and women’s competitive basketball experience to the UAE, and Abu Dhabi is one of the few places in the world where you can experience the true NBA [National Basketball Association] Acting, it felt like a natural choice,” Peace said.
The Access Abu Dhabi program is open to all US businesses and includes support to accelerate expansion and growth in Abu Dhabi, including mentorship from program ambassador Kevin O’Leary.
