Global innovations in cleantech and sustainable development to be showcased at the World Future Energy Summit 2022 Live Exhibition and Forum

The World Future Energy Summit 2022 will host an unparalleled face-to-face business, innovation and knowledge exchange programme at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi from 17-19 January 2022. Hosted by Masdar as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and the NEOM Department of Energy and Water, the event is a venue for discovering innovative technologies that can accelerate sustainable development and help address the challenges of climate change. These top sustainability innovations from around the world have the potential to revolutionize key industries such as urban mobility, clean energy, agricultural technology and food safety, and artificial intelligence.

These innovations are part of the Masdar City global initiative “Innovation”, which provides a platform for innovation-focused companies from around the world to showcase their technologies to international investors and bring their companies exclusive access to life The Abu Dhabi Technology Ecosystem. Masdar’s innovation program showcases more than 18 new technologies, which will be showcased at the 2022 World Future Energy Summit including:

• Circa Biotech’s agritech solutions utilize the industrial farming of the UAE’s native insect, the black soldier fly, to upgrade food waste into high-quality animal feed.
• FortyGuard cools the city by knowing the data to control the outdoor temperature. It provides predictive analytics and modeling services for outdoor cooling scenarios.
• Manhat is a deep tech startup with patented technology that provides sustainable solutions for water production, irrigation and transportation.
• Tenderd operates the largest online heavy equipment management and rental marketplace in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This is the Uber of equipment rentals.
• QS Monitor is the platform for food and water safety. It uses a technologically advanced eco-friendly model that minimizes losses, monitors and tracks safety measures.
• Volts UAE manufactures and supplies energy storage devices and IT solutions that power smart homes.
