The global skills gap could reach 85 million by 2030, with the world’s 1.3 billion 18- to 24-year-olds particularly vulnerable to this widening gap, according to a report.

To address this pressing issue, global strategy and public policy consultancy Whiteshield will organize an international public policy competition to encourage students to propose policies and solutions aimed at closing skills gaps in the global labor market.

Jury members for the competition will include Whiteshield leaders, distinguished academicians from major universities and key figures from global economic institutions. Interested students should submit their applications on or before the deadline of October 30, 2022.

Public Policy Case Workshop

For many years, Whiteshield has conducted interactive global public policy case workshops at prestigious institutions to help students understand how public policy is made, practical experience and knowledge. The project has grown into a global competition to better train the next generation to develop strategy and public policy, especially on issues of importance and critical importance.
