Dubai’s Global Village, the premier family destination for multicultural entertainment, has revealed more details on some additional new experiences and attractions that guests can look forward to throughout Season 27.
Just in time for the best time for Halloween, the newly built House of Fear is set to be the most terrifying haunted house experience in the area, featuring a cast of nine different experiences, from a haunted cemetery, a hospital’s mental ward, and even It’s a screaming tree. Spanning 660 square meters, the unique House of Fear concept utilizes the latest animatronics technology from the United States and was curated by Cave Entertainment for Global Village to create an immersive haunted house experience like no other.
Another brand new attraction for Season 27 is the Diggers Lab, where kids of all ages can put on a construction hat and enjoy this fun, educational and fun activity. The hydraulic excavator experience located at the entrance of the carnival invites small builders to control by operating construction machinery such as excavators and dump trucks, making the whole family excited.
In a world with weird rules, the wildly popular Rip It Up! Vibrant and eye-catching oddities, Odditorium returns to the global village for year 4. Featuring over 200 incredible and incredible displays from around the world, the first Ripley’s Believe It or Not! The Odditorium in the Mena area welcomes many new exhibits, as well as an upgraded lobby and new retail offerings.
There will be over 50 new Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Exhibits include a 14-foot killer crocodile, a matchstick model containing more than a million matches, and even a display of Cristiano Ronaldo’s “money legs”. The popular “Torture Chamber” gallery now includes a brand new photo opportunity, adding to the incredible ancient prison torture exhibits.
Also adding this year is the “Hero Gallery,” inspired by iconic superheroes and featuring some very unique movie memorabilia in an exciting new rotating exhibit. More details on these exhibits will be announced soon.
With over 170 rides, games and attractions for you to explore and enjoy, Carnaval™ Playground is perfect for family fun. This season, seven of the carnival’s most popular rides have also introduced fast-track queues, so guests can go straight to the front of the queue like VIPs. Thrill seekers will be able to see their messy glory in three self-made rides thanks to new video recording technology. Guests will be able to wear a wrist-worn camera to document their entire creepy experience, ready to take it back and share the fun with loved ones, or as the perfect social media post.
In addition to the introduction of new and enhanced attractions, all existing rides have been demolished, fully serviced and rebuilt again to obtain the required third-party certification. Global Village continues to receive awards for its excellence in safety standards. Earlier this year, the park again received a five-star rating and the prestigious Sword of Honor from the British Safety Council.
