Leading luxury hotel Millennium Dubai has announced the appointment of Vassil Lazarov as Hotel Food and Beverage Manager.
Vassil will now be responsible for coordinating all F&B outlets within the hotel, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards for ultimate guest satisfaction. With extensive knowledge and experience in the catering and hospitality industry, Vassil is poised to lead the catering department of this prestigious hotel to new heights of excellence.
Vassil is a skilled hospitality professional known for his leadership, management expertise and operational acumen. His skill set spans multiple areas including finance, payroll, accounting and operations. He has a proven ability to apply vision, creative ideas and innovative solutions to successfully address business challenges.
A results-driven individual, his leadership style fosters teamwork, inspires trust and builds confidence across all business functions and levels.
Having worked in various hotels in Malta, Scotland and Dubai, Vassil brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to that, he was Food and Beverage Manager at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort from December 2020 to December 2022, where he led the food and beverage department and oversaw the financial and quality performance of 11 food and beverage outlets and banquet facilities accommodating up to 2000 guests guests.
Vassil’s impressive career in the hospitality industry has also included stints at several prestigious hotels in Dubai such as Novotel & Ibis, Dubai Deira City Centre, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, Long’s Bar, Towers Rotana Hotel and Q43, Media One Hotel.
As Food and Beverage Manager at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Dubai, Vassil aims to instill a culture of collaboration from the top down. He wanted all the outlets to be on the same page and work toward the common goal of creating a warm, welcoming, down-to-earth community hub.
He will re-evaluate the entire division with a fresh pair of eyes, bringing innovation and out-of-the-box thinking in promotions, concepts and products.
In Vassil’s mind, the hotel’s prime location in Dubai is perfectly capable of being a fun and carefree meeting place for a thriving community.
Vassil is determined to bring a relaxed environment to the hotel, making all staff approachable, humble and most importantly, providing guests with an impeccable level of service. Vassil also wants to introduce a range of sustainable practices, including a sophisticated sustainable cocktail menu, so the hotel and all of its outlets do their bit for the environment.
