More than 113,600 employees from 330 companies from government, academic institutions and non-profit organizations actively participated and attended Dubai Chamber Sustainability Week 2022.
Aiming to improve Dubai’s enabling business environment, the event, themed “Engage Stakeholders in Sustainability, Improve Relevance, Ensure Priority, Increase Impact”, raised awareness of engaging stakeholders in business sustainability Awareness of the importance of the journey.
Through a series of roundtable conversations and panel discussions, the event shared valuable insights on stakeholder management techniques and strategies, and solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
B2B Stakeholder Engagement
This year, the Sustainability Week exhibit focused on local sustainability initiatives and businesses, making it an excellent forum for sustainable supplier B2B stakeholder engagement.
As part of Sustainability Week, an event called Engaging Stakeholders in Sustainability was organized. It saw over 177 programs, events and events focused on stakeholder engagement, attracting overwhelming participation from local businesses. The results of the event were announced at the closing ceremony.
Dr Kamel Mellahi, Senior Manager, Center for Responsible Business, Dubai Chamber, said the active participation in Sustainability Week 2022 reflected the commitment of top sustainability leaders from the Dubai business community and abroad, who provided valuable insight this week on what could be Increase stakeholder engagement in businesses, adding that this will have a significant impact on best practices in Dubai.
