WEST – The Granite Theater’s annual show of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol begins Friday night at 7:30 pm.
This year’s show, running until December 18, was adapted by Mark Reyes, directed and choreographed by the theater’s artistic director, Erin Sousa-Stanley.
The cast is led by Christie Max Williams, who will play Ebenezer Scrooge, a selfish, mean-spirited miser known for muttering “Bah, liar!” Whenever Christmas or Christmas is mentioned.
The Christmas classic, largely set on Christmas Eve, describes what happens when Scrooge visits the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley, and then three other ghosts, past Christmas, present The ghost of Christmas and Christmas to come. The ghost takes Scrooge on a journey through time that changes his life.
Additional cast includes Linda Loy, Richard Warlock, Nancy Rupert, Pamela Kerouac-Warner, Tom Steenberg, Elias Baker, Patrick Lewis, Dylan Conaway, Avaline Durbin, Robert Olsen, Sophia Sherman, Sue Bibby, Andrew Shepke, Emma Frisby, Jackson Heine, Keith Brayne, Linda Allen, Emeline Mckeown, Amy O’Neal, Payton Smith, Mae McClenahan and Jack McClenahan.
