ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) — A Green Bay area baseball team is ready to go into the new season.
green bay rock band The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders’ 2023 home opener will be held at Capital Credit Union Park on May 30 at 6:35 p.m.
While the debut of the new HD video board awaits and welcomes new players from coast to coast to spend their summer on the diamond, the team has a few other surprises to mark the new season.
Gates at Capital Credit Union Park will open at 5:35 pm and the party will start with a live pre-game concert by Johnny Wad. This season, the Rock Band will once again host a live pregame concert between the hour before each game and the first three innings of the game. There will be a new duel piano on Thursday nights and they will play up to the 7th inning on those nights.
This season, the rock band is hosting weekly nightly promotions. Every Tuesday on the main lobby level is buy two get one free, and the team added a bonus for Opening Day, including an all-you-can-drink Bud Light Party Patio.
In addition to live music and discounted tickets, the rock band will also be awarding a $2,000 prize to one lucky fan named Rock Star of the Year among all those in attendance. No purchase required, and everyone in attendance is eligible to win. Prizes include an all-inclusive Rodac Suite for up to 10 guests to the Rock Band competition, four general admission mezzanine tickets to concerts at the EPIC Events Center, a year’s supply of Pepsi, and a $250 Capital Credit Union Park gift card.
