Sharjah24: The Gulf States Arabic Education Center, a unit of the Arab Gulf States Education Authority (ABEGS), is participating in the 32nd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair Abu Dhabi 2023, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center under the department Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism Exhibition at Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The Center’s participation is in line with the directives and programs of ABEGS and its units in member countries. The aim is to disseminate knowledge and disseminate the scientific achievements of the Office and its units in various fields of education and learning by presenting scientific publications to relevant institutions, experts and visitors of the fair. Furthermore, this participation is aimed at selling produced materials and consolidating the presence of the Arab Education Office and its units.
The involvement of the Gulf Arabic Education Center included the presentation of a series of new publications in the field of Arabic education and learning. These publications cover topics of great importance, such as research on developing e-reading skills among secondary school students and a frame of reference for the use of technology in Arabic language teaching and learning.
The Center attaches great importance to continuous and active participation in such activities to promote interaction and exchange between creators and readers of cultural, intellectual, scientific and creative works, covering different tendencies and generations.
Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of the Center for Arabic Language Education in the Gulf States, highlighted the Center’s commitment to participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair every year. The center’s pavilion reflects an emphasis on the Arabic language, marked by a design in the shape of the Arabic letter ‘Ḍād’.
He invites visitors to explore the pavilion and discover its valuable publications in the field of Arabic language education and learning. In addition, the Center’s involvement includes publications that contribute to Arabic conferences, symposiums and specialized seminars. These publications benefit educators at all levels, including teachers, supervisors, and policymakers, providing insights into the Arabic language and its development.
