guns n roses Already kicking off a massive world tour in 2023 in Abu Dhabi, returning several songs to the playlist for the first time in decades.

On Thursday night (June 1), the band performed at the Etihad Arena in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Among the more than 30 songs they performed were cuts of “Desire for Destruction” and “Anything Is Possible,” the first release of the song since 1988. In 1993, ‘Use Your Illusion II’s’ Pretty Tied Up performed for the first time since 1992.
The band played a total of nine “Desire for Destruction” songs – including “My Sweet Child”, “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Mr. Brownstone”, opener ‘It’s So Easy’ and more recently ‘Paradise City’. 2022 Singles “Hard School” and “Ridiculous” were performed, along with a string of other songs from “Use Your Illusions,” 1988’s “G N’R Lies,” and 2008’s “Chinese Democracy” duo.
The playlist also includes a selection of covers.they launched by running dog with GNR bassist Duff McKagan, wing”Life and Death’, velvet revolver“Slither” by Rose Tattoo, “Nice Boys” by Rose Tattoo, “Wichita Lineman” by Jimmy Webb and “Down on the Farm” by UK Subs. The Guns N’ Roses 2023 World Tour continues this Monday, June 5, in Tel Aviv, before touring Europe and the UK, including Glastonbury June 24 and Headline show in Hyde Park, London BST June 30th.
