In order to highlight the cultural heritage of the UAE, the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre (HHC) will host eight lectures on the UAE’s intangible cultural traditions at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The series of lectures in cooperation with the Khalifa Empowerment Program (Aqdar) will be held in the Fazaa Pavilion from October 24th to 30th (8.30pm).
“Some HHC consultants, researchers and directors will give lectures. These topics are related to ancient craftsmanship, heritage symbols and the culture of the three UAE environments,” HHC research director Fatima Bin Huraiz Say.
The title of the lecture is camel, cow, boat, falcon, palm tree, coffee, horse and pearl.
“Expo 2020 provides us with an excellent opportunity to promote UAE civilization from heritage and cultural portals. The least we can do is to showcase our human heritage and the social values on which we work and live. Bin Huraiz pointed out that in order to inspire new A generation continues the development process of the UAE, and we also hope to convey our cultural heritage to the visitors of Expo 2020.
She added: “Our collaboration with Aqdar reflects the best practice model adopted by state entities to work together to empower individuals and society and protect our national cultural heritage.”
