A social media user replied Hansal’s Twitter, sharing the trailer, and wrote, “You should be ashamed of yourself. You are a shameless person. You exploited a terrible tragedy for your own benefit without the consent of the victim’s family. Why are you Not to make a film about events in your own country?”

The filmmaker handled the situation quite patiently and shared an article with the person, adding in his tweet, “Hope this article will give you a chance to see this in a more balanced light Read on.” The articles shared were about “artistic freedom,” “letting grief infiltrate censorship,” and “cancel culture.” It also spoke of how the attack was linked to many “larger national and global trends”.
