Having served the people of the UAE for decades, the public – both citizens and expatriates – recognized him as a compassionate, generous and hard-working leader.
In addition to his many landmark achievements, he was also admired for the way he connected with everyone around him, from kings and presidents to workers and frontliners.
He is head of state, but like his father – the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – he is always grounded and ready to listen.

2. He is the third son of Sheikh Zayed
The third son of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he grew up under the watchful eye of his father and mother, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.

3. His studies began in Parliament
