exclusive: Harriet Slater (Pennyworth) has signed on to appear in horror films Horror filmAnna Hallberg and Spencer Cohen are directing screen gem and Alloy Entertainmentin their feature debut.
The actress joins a band that also includes the previously announced Jacob Batalon, Alana Boden, Adain Bradley, Avantika, Humberly González, Wolfgang Novogratz, Larsen Thompson and Olwen Fouéré.
Based on the Alloy novel of the same name by Nicholas Adams, Horror film Follow a group of college friends reading their horoscopes and then start dying in ways that relate to their destiny. Is their fate fatal, or can they change what’s written on the stars?
Details about Slater’s role are kept under wraps, as all have been so far. But Anna Hallberg and Spencer Cohen are directing from their own script, with Leslie Morgenstern and Alyssa Koplowitz Dutton producing for Alloy, and Ground Control’s Scott Glassgold. Halberg and Cohen serve as executive producers, while Scott Strauss, Michael Bitar and Lariah Perara oversee Screen Gems’ projects.
Slater is an up-and-coming actress, best known for her role as Sandra Onslow on the show PennyworthDC based Batman The manga, which recently moved from Epix to the third season of HBO Max.The actress is next in Disney’s fifth installment Indiana Jones Franchise, and horror real trouble From Sony’s Screen Gems, she starred alongside Jamie Campbell Bower and Erin Moriarty.
