‘Music at Sushi Restaurant’ singer cancels Kia Forum performance out of ‘extreme caution’
The show is now taking place on Sunday (11/6/22) as part of a global ‘Love On Tour’ excursion and all tickets “will be redeemed on the new date”.
Harry has eight more performances at the prestigious venue before heading to Mexico and South America on November 20.
The same reason was given last month when the “Don’t Worry Darling” star postponed his first concert in Chicago due to illness.
The “as is” producer was due to start his six-night show in the city on October 6, but hours before the show, the United Center revealed that the show had been moved to October 10, “due to a large number of warning”.
They tweeted: “Out of an abundance of caution, tonight’s Thursday 6 October 2022 Harry Styles show at the United Center has been rescheduled to Monday 10 October 2022 due to band/staff sickness .
“All previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new date. All additional performance dates will be on schedule. Email from Ticketmaster will be sent directly to ticket holders with more information. (sic)”
In a subsequent message, the venue confirmed that fans who received wristbands while in line could reserve their spots on Monday.
They clarified on their website: “Numbered wristbands for GA on Thursday, October 6 will be honored on the rescheduled date of Monday, October 10. As long as guests arrive before 5pm, they can be honored as previously Order in line Monday, October 10. Any numbered wristbands arriving after 5pm will be in line after the last guest.
“Original numbered wristbands must be presented on Monday, October 10 to be honored. Guests without a previously numbered wristband will be placed after the last guest.”
