Havas Sports & Entertainment, the sports and sponsorship vertical for Havas Media Group India, has appointed Arun Kumar Rao as Senior Vice President. He will be based in Gurgaon, reporting to R. Venkatasubramanian, President, Investments and Head of Havas Sports.

With over 20 years of diverse work experience, Rao has extensive experience in sports marketing and sponsorship, media advertising sales and marketing, strategic marketing, DTH and digital sales, business development, digital content development and acquisition. He has worked as an independent consultant helping brands, start-ups and sports clubs develop marketing and sales strategies and generate revenue through sponsorships. “I look forward to working with meaningful brands from different industries, leading and emerging sporting events, driving innovation, and making meaningful change,” Rao said.
Earlier this year, Havas Media Group India relaunched the Havas Sports & Entertainment vertical to offer clients unparalleled opportunities by offering bespoke sports solutions and access to high-value media and sponsorships.
