Hemaya Clip: Top videos and photos on security issues win Dh100,000 in UAE

Dubai: Under the patronage of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Maari, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, the Hemaya International Center of Dubai Police, in partnership with Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum International, has launched the second edition of the Hemaya Short Film Competition Photography Awards (HIPA) .

The Best Promotional Photography Video Award in Dubai Police Security, also known as the Hemaya Clip, is open to students of universities, institutes and colleges of all nationalities within the UAE as well as Emirati students on scholarship abroad.

Hemaya Clip, awarded AED 100,000, aims to use creative approaches to various security and police challenges, envision a safe future through the eyes of young people, strengthen communication channels with university students, and allow them to highlight their abilities in the production of creative And ideas and talent in purposeful editing.

Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, Secretary General of HIPA, said: “We are delighted to launch the Hemaya Clip Contest in partnership with Dubai Police for the second consecutive year at HIPA, as the first competition exceeded our expectations and witnessed a positive interaction with Dubai Police. Entrants must submit images that have been previously awarded or have been used for commercial purposes.

He also mentioned that if the photos represent or contain any inappropriate and/or objectionable content, including nudity, violence or any other content deemed to be inconsistent with public morals and the religious and cultural customs and traditions of the UAE, the photos will be was excluded from the competition.

“Entries must not contain logos, signatures, names, frames, borders, symbols, signs, dates, times and/or other markings added by participants. Basic technical changes to images are permitted provided this does not affect the image/photo / Credibility and/or originality of illustrations. Advanced editing for adding illusions, optical illusions and/or manipulations, including overlays and creative changes to images, is prohibited,” he added.

The Hemaya Center also launched the AED 60,000 second edition of the Hemaya Media Awards, honoring media personalities and influencers who effectively convey the message of the Heyama Clip to the public and enrich the digital world with visibility and meaningful content.

The Director of the Hemaya International Center highlighted Dubai Police’s eagerness to celebrate public information efforts as a key partner, especially as social awareness requires the media and influencers to work together to spread awareness and foster creativity on a wider scale.

Colonel Al Khayat said media personnel and influencers will compete in five categories: Best Media Coverage in Arabic, Best Media Coverage in English, Best Media Survey Coverage on Social Media Platforms, Best TV Coverage and Best Influence on Social Media reporter reported. media platform.
