Here are the must-see places for Eid

DUBAI – Muslims around the world will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with religious reverence and joy this weekend, and the United Arab Emirates will not be far behind in providing entertainment for its residents.

As with the New Year celebrations, there are events in the UAE to attract residents, and in this regard fireworks will be held at various locations across the emirate.

To experience the grandeur of Eid, visitors can watch the fireworks displays at the following locations during the first two nights of Eid:

Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen

Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen will host a fireworks display on Friday 21 April opening night from 9pm. It will also include live entertainment, events organized by the local community and plenty of food.

On Saturday, Bluewaters will host a fireworks display at 9pm. This place is across the water from Dubai Marina and has the largest observation wheel in the world.

Beach, JBR

The beach at JBR will also host a firework display on Saturday, April 22 at 9pm, another great vantage point, reports the Khaleej Times.

Dubai Parks and Resorts

The Leisure and Entertainment Center will also entertain visitors with a fireworks display on April 22 at 7pm and 9pm.

A daily firework display is planned from Friday 21 April, and the Eid al-Fitr market will also offer the opportunity to shop from various stalls for authentic Arabic pistachio ice cream, beautiful paintings by local artists and a range of seasonal drinks.

Abu Dhabi will also host a fireworks display to match the vibrancy of Dubai, and in this regard, the displays will be held at the following locations:

Yas Island

For the first two days of Hari Raya, Yas Island will host consecutive fireworks displays from 9pm on the Yas Bay waterfront.

Corniche

Residents and tourists can also watch the sky come alive for Eid from Abu Dhabi’s Corniche Road.
