DULUTH — As temperatures just rose above freezing Tuesday, downtown Duluth released its summer movie schedule at Leif Erickson Park.
Action flicks like Top Gun: Maverick and Spider-Man: No Way Home will be complemented by comedies, including two Minion films (Despicable Me and Minions: Rising of Gru). ) for eight Friday nights from July 7 to August 25. Offers will be available at free showings beginning at sunset.
The eight films were chosen from 13 options for community vote
Jack Black’s “School of Rock,” the top-voted comedy, hits theaters Aug. 4. “Top Gun: Maverick” and the original “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” were also particularly popular.
