Here’s how to pay parking fines online in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman

Abu Dhabi: Have you been fined in United Arab Emirates (UAE) for exceeding the stipulated paid parking time or parking in an unauthorized spot? You can pay public parking fines online quickly and easily.

All parking fines in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman must be paid through their respective municipalities and public transport authorities.

Here’s how to pay parking fines online

Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s public parking system is called Mawaqif and is managed by the International Trade Centre.

In Abu Dhabi, you can pay public parking fines through the “Darb” mobile app, as follows:

  • Install the “Darb” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Open the app and log in with your UAE Pass.
  • Select Fines from the application menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Then select “Mawaqif”.
  • The app will list the fines associated with the vehicle and your Emirates ID.
  • Select the violation and pay with your credit or debit card on the app.

dubai

In Dubai, you can pay fines through the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) website.

You can pay by:

  • Check fines issued to you by any of the following methods

1. Use your license plate

2. Use your driver’s license number

3. Use your penalty number

4. Use your traffic file number

  • After you have entered the necessary information, the system will display information on any fines that may have been imposed.
  • Afterwards, you can complete the payment with a credit or debit card.

Sharjah

In Sharjah, you can pay parking fines through the Sharjah Municipality website.

Here are the steps to pay your fine online:

  • Open the Sharjah City Parking Fines website and enter your vehicle details. Then, click the “Search” button.
  • If there are any outstanding fines in the Sharjah Municipality database, the amount of the fine and the violation will be displayed.
  • Next, enter your contact information, including your phone number and email address.
  • After that, pay the amount for the parking violation.
  • After paying the fine, you will receive a text message and email confirmation.

Ajman

In Ajman, you can issue parking fines through the department’s mobile app “MPDA”.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  • Install the “MPDA” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Click “Pay fine” on the app’s home page, then click “Go”.
  • Select the Personal category, then choose one of the options – Local/Resident or Visitor.
  • If you selected ‘Local/Resident’, please enter your Emirates ID number. If you selected “Visitor”, please enter your passport number and nationality.
  • Click on “Search” and you will be able to view the fines on the system under your account.
  • Select a violation and pay the fine on the app using your credit or debit card.
  • Afterwards, you will receive a payment confirmation notification from the app.
