High 5 breaks ground on Allen’s first Dallas-Fort Worth area entertainment venue

High 5 Entertainment breaks ground on new location Allen’s Farm According to a press release, June 14.

Opening in late spring of 2024, the family-friendly venue will include miniature golf, axe throw, an escape room and a 24-lane bowling alley with duck pin bowling and virtual reality. The roughly 3-acre project will also offer a two-story laser tag arena and a full bar, according to a press release.

“High 5 Entertainment’s exciting new venue at Allen Farms will provide a unique experience for all ages,” said Matt Foster, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Allen Community Development Corporation, in a release.

Located on the southeast corner of SH 121 and Alma Drive, the project is Austin-based High 5 Entertainment’s first project in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The two-story arena will total nearly 42,000 square feet, with an adjacent miniature golf course of more than 25,000 square feet, according to a press release.

“We are excited and honored to be partnering with the City of Allen to bring High 5 to Allen’s Farm, making this development the perfect mix of urban homes, senior living, retail, corporate headquarters, townhomes, lofts, restaurants and of course And, entertainment,” High 5 president Scott Emley said in a release.

The location is the third for High 5, which currently has two locations in the Austin area. According to a press release, the project will be adjacent to other projects at Allen Farms, including The Hub, an open-air entertainment venue, as well as offices, retail space, restaurants, a hotel and more.
