The next time you’re celebrating a special occasion, from a business lunch to a family “work,” Hilton will help you capture the moment on camera.
The hotel group, which claims to be a world first, has launched its ‘Waitographer’ programme in the UAE – a programme designed to train restaurant waiters to take photos with their smartphones so they can document guests’ celebrations with crisp, colourful and vibrant images, These images show the correct composition.
Hilton hired renowned Middle Eastern photographer Roger Moukarzel to conduct workshops aimed at honing the photography skills of the wait staff.
Upon completion of the training program, team members will receive certificates and badges so that guests can easily identify “waiters” when staying or dining at Hilton properties, and seek their help when they wish to take photos.
The ‘Waitographer’ program is up and running, and nearly 100 Hilton team members have already attended Roger Moukarzel’s photography workshops, with many more scheduled to receive their training soon.
Following its launch in the UAE, the Waitographer seminar will be rolled out across the global Hilton portfolio through online training courses.
