Explain the background of you and the company in detail.
I was doing my MBA and had a clear plan to start a Consultation Firm after completing my MBA. I incorporated Accord Commerz just after my convocation ceremony in 2018. We expanded in Hong Kong and the UK. As in every entrepreneur’s life, the initial time was very hectic and stressful because it’s always hard to convince prospects when starting from scratch. All I had was an MBA degree from a premier management institute in India.
When this covid started in 2020 January, a lot of things changed, and we decided that UAE is the best place for our business. I moved the company to UAE in March 2020.
My company works as a Management Consultancy where we first understand the client’s goals, such as their risk appetite, earning expectations, investment amount, the ongoing structure of their firm, or ongoing investments and expenses in case of a sole proprietary client. Then we come up with a possible solution that would minimize the risk and increase the returns.
Himanshu Shekhar Diwedi, What are your goals?
Our goal is to become a long-term and trustworthy investment partner to our clients. Our main focus is to enhance our client’s wealth consistently. We do this by showing the profitable opportunities supported by dedicated advisory services. We focus on offering 100% client satisfaction. Furthermore, we aim to create a client base in sound economies such as the European Union, North America, Middle East. As a team, we want to help our clients solve their problems and work on achieving objectives all the time.
What do you feel is the biggest strength of yourself/company right now?
Our biggest strength is our experienced team. I personally have experience of 12 years in different markets. Everyone in the Marketing team has experience of 14+ years in well-established firms. Our CA is a well-known professional in his field with an experience of 15+year.
Above all, our mentor has been at different CXO levels in his professional life. Everyone is from IIM, which is the topmost institute in India. Together with our skills and experience, we move forward in this industry, focusing on our goals.
What was the path you/your company took to get to where you are today?
I always tried to give my best to the clients. In the beginning, the investment was minimal, and the fees I took were almost nothing. My focus was not to earn money at that time. Instead, it was to prove my capabilities and build my credibility. The “word of mouth” factor that I studied in Service Marketing was absolutely what I needed, and that can only come if the performance is beyond the expectations.
Himanshu Shekhar Diwedi, Why did you start (or want to be the head of) this company?
I never had a plan to do a job since my childhood. I always thought maybe I would do some good work for a bigshot company, I might earn a decent salary and a comfortable life, but whatever I do, I will be an employee only.
The satisfaction I get while doing all my work is something I can not get through a job.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the life of an entrepreneur, every day starts with challenges and ends with new challenges waiting. If I think of one or two of them, it would be difficult for me. So I will tell you the external problem which affected my business a lot. Covid 19, yes, just like for others, it created a challenging situation for me as well. I was getting clients from different countries, and because travel rules were changing every day, it was tough for me to synchronize with my prospect. Moreover, I was stuck in India for 5 months in 2020 and 5 months in 2021. My meetings were postponed every time, and a new date came in. I was having zoom meetings, but it gave no output until I met them practically.

Himanshu Shekhar Diwedi, What makes you excited about Mondays?
Actually, every day is a working day for me. I keep all the updates of global scenarios, especially economic reports that are published on weekdays, and generally schedule all the meetings on weekends. So it is a 24/7 work kind of life.
What do you value most about your culture and vision?
I always pay attention to the present situation and try to make the best out of it. In every case, it is to achieve the future goals but how much effort you are putting in today gives you results in the future.
Only thinking about future goals and not working properly will not provide you with anything other than stress. Working on the current situation with total commitment is needed to succeed in any phase of life.
Tell us about a project that forced you to explore something you normally don’t.
I had a client from the UK who wanted to incorporate a company in another country with low tax slabs. That was a project in which I went through many ongoing economic and political happenings of all European countries. I went through the corporate tax slabs of these countries, ease of doing business, work culture, and future possibilities.
What are your company’s strategies, and how do they stand unique from your competitors?
I can’t reveal the strategies because that is the main trade secret for any firm. No other competitors are even near to the USP of my company in the returns that we generate.
What are the key values that helped you overcome the roadblocks/challenges in your career?
We always pay a lot of attention to every client, whether their investment is big or small. Client satisfaction is our topmost priority, and we always focus on increasing their returns on investment.
How do you see the company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?
If we work at the same pace as we worked since the start, I think we will achieve the same growth. Instead, we can increase the client base in sound economies ( European union, North America, Middle East). As far as my contribution, I have given my entire life to my business, and I never back out from any type of work pertaining to my business.
Where is your leadership going? What benefits do your clients get from your company in this competitive world?
In this competitive world, you always have to be innovative and introduce new policies that are fully targeted towards clients’ satisfaction. This is what I am doing incessantly.
I always think that group members follow the instruction and the leader’s footsteps. So, I always stick to the rules created for the company’s growth and never budge in any scenario. The same I expect in future also.
