History Hit launches on Comcast’s entertainment platform in the US

History Hit, an SVOD, podcast and content platform founded by historian Dan Snow and acquired by award-winning digital content agency and media network Little Dot Studios, an All3Media company, has acquired Comcast Entertainment USA launched on the platform. With this launch, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex and Xumo TV customers get unlimited access to award-winning podcasts and histories published weekly and presented by expert historians Dan Snow, Suzannah Lipscomb, James Holland, Matt Lewis, Tristan Hughes and more documentary.

History Hit is available for $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year and provides access to History Hit’s full catalog, including popular shows such as Endurance Rediscovered, Digging into the Dark Ages with Dan Snow, Anne Boleyn, and Katherine of Aragon: With Suzannah Lipscomb The professor’s brilliant competition and the lost lives of Pompeii with Tristan Hughes.

The app was developed in the LightningTM Software Development Kit (SDK) to provide a great user and viewer experience. The partnership will allow History Hit to reach a wider US audience as it continues to expand through 3rd party platforms following recent app launches including Prime Video Channels UK and Samsung EU and UK. History Hit is also available on Roku, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Chromecast, Xbox iOS, Android and the web, as well as via the metered app platform for carriers worldwide.
