American actor Michael K. Williams, who played Omar Little in the critically acclaimed TV series electric wire, Died of an accidental drug overdose, authorities said Friday.

The 54-year-old was found dead in his apartment in New York earlier this month, and he played the iconic Baltimore in this groundbreaking show.

The New York City Chief Forensic Office said in a statement that Williams’ cause of death was “acute poisoning caused by the combined effects of fentanyl, flufentanyl, heroin, and cocaine”. According to officials, the death was an accident.
