Holovis played a central role in delivering the first SeaWorld park to open outside of North America in 30 years, with a wide range of LED, audio and drone related products.
Yas Island SeaWorld in Abu Dhabi, UAE includes the UAE’s first dedicated marine life research, rescue rehabilitation and return center, uniquely designed to provide visitors with an immersive experience.
The park will include one of the largest aquariums in the world, as well as educational learning experiences for all local and international visitors to enjoy.
Holovis provided park-wide interactions and games as well as complete audiovisual solutions for the entire park.
Working with Miral to assist in the creation of this project, Holovis specializes in general area development for AV, digital displays, digital signage, show audio systems, street theater AV and interactive (gaming and interpretive interaction).
Holovis was also responsible for show control, AV and lighting sequences for the entire park attraction.
The park’s central hub, the One Ocean Hub, features a giant immersive screen that spans 3,600 square meters, is 15 meters high, and has a circumference of 220 meters. This massive display is supported by a 5.4 diameter LED sphere, providing a multifaceted visual experience.
Holovis also partnered with Verity to create an indoor drone show of 160 drones, echoing the flow of ocean currents as the drone swarm moved in sync with visual displays on the One Ocean LED wall and LED Globe.
The park features more than 1,800 loudspeakers, 250 digital displays and 150 backstage racks housed in 28 communication rooms interconnected by more than 350,000 meters of cables.
Control programs are integrated across the park, synchronizing AV control, ride gate control, building management and lighting sequences across park attractions.
