How the UAE is empowering women

[ad_1]

Women’s empowerment in the UAE has been described as a “miraculous achievement”. It was initiated, outlined and defined by the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and by the late President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Proposed by Hayan and continued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with more extraordinary steps and initiatives taken by the ruler of the emirate.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is pursuing women’s empowerment on the basis of the Founding Fathers’ approach, always emphasizing the authenticity of Emirati women and true Arab values.

As the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan said: “I believe that women in our rising country realize the importance of maintaining true customs derived from the true teachings of the Islamic religion, because They are the foundation of progress. The family, the family is the foundation of the progress of the whole society.”

The UAE’s achievements in the field of women’s empowerment have been a topic of concern in official and public circles around the world. All rulers of the UAE support and cherish Emirati women. The country hosts seminars, dialogues and discussions at home and abroad to draw the world’s attention to the importance of women’s empowerment.

consistent approach

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has repeatedly reiterated that appreciating women is a consistent practice for UAE rulers. This is reflected in the selection of two women in the UAE’s first cabinet reshuffle after His Highness took over the government.

Sarah Al Amiri has been appointed Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Emirates School Education Foundation and Sarah Al Musallam, Minister of State for Early Education.

This political empowerment of women takes place within the framework of the Zayed Institute for Leadership and Governance. It has elevated the status of women and recognized them as important partners in development.

Over the years, Zayed’s schools have elevated the status of Emirati women in the UAE and around the world, an experience highlighted for its competence, cultural, humanistic, ethical, scientific and professional values, qualities that prompted the late Sheikh Ha Raifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s move to increase the representation of women in the Federal National Also for the fundamental and political empowerment of Emirati women.

Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairman of the Women’s General Union, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairman of the Family Development Foundation (Mother of the Nation), is considered the most influential female leader in the field of women’s empowerment due to her support for Emirati women A long, ongoing journey to provide a supportive environment.

Main character of Sheikha Fatima

It is clear that Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak plays an important role in the empowerment of women in the UAE as she has launched a number of key initiatives in this regard, such as supporting the future national strategy for women’s empowerment, which enhances the value of women and their role as sustainable Key partner for development projects.

She continues to empower women in peace and security, as her initiative was launched at UN Women to train women to work in the military, security and peace fields.

What makes Sheikha Fatima different is that, in addition to her interest in female Emirati citizens, she also cares about non-Emirati women.

Through their roles as mothers and teachers, Emirati women make a huge contribution to the advancement of society. As mothers, they raise their children morally, instilling in them a sense of security and love for their country; as teachers, they build the future of their country through knowledge and culture. The same applies to all other fields, as women have always proven that given the right opportunity, they are capable of doing wonders.

Believe in the role of women

The celebration of Emirati Women’s Day last month (28 August) confirmed the conviction of the wise leadership, headed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, about the importance of women and their role in the country Witness the positive role in the sustainable development process.

The UAE rulers’ appreciation for women is largely due to a deep spiritual understanding of Islam and its pure nature, which was characteristic of the enlightenment of the late founding father, by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ( Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan).

This spiritual understanding has become the constitution that regulates how most Emiratis view women, as people are naturally influenced by charismatic rulers. Indeed, this spiritual understanding protects the people of the UAE and others from the dark designs of extremists such as the Brotherhood and Daesh.

positive transformation

Statistics show to what extent the situation of Emirati women has been positively transformed due to wise leadership supporting their policies and initiatives. Emirati women have become poets, writers and novelists, as well as ambassadors and consuls in the diplomatic corps.

In addition, the number of licenses held by women entrepreneurs in the UAE increased by 132% in 2021. Their businesses focus on hospitality, services, real estate, construction, fashion and aerospace.

In addition to this, Emirati women have also strengthened their international and regional presence in various fields. The UAE topped the Forbes Global 2022 list of the 50 Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East today, with seven Emirati women entrepreneurs.

The UAE ranks first in the Arab world in the 2022 Women, Business and Law report published by the World Bank. According to the 2020 Gender Equality Index published by the United Nations Development Programme, the country ranks 18th globally and first in the Arab world and the Middle East.

After making the list of the 25 best countries for gender equality in the world in 2021, the UAE is looking forward to being in the top 10 in the future.

The people of the UAE believe that Emirati women will always be in a better position thanks to the policies and initiatives developed and implemented under the direction of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

As I understand His Highness’s school of wise management, I am very optimistic about the future and feel very comfortable about the future of Emirati women. This noble goal can only be achieved if Emirati women contribute and actively participate in its implementation.
