UAE – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) has advised residents and tourists who require academic certificates and other documentation issued abroad to follow the necessary procedures to avoid rejection.
This includes ensuring that all documents are certified by the relevant authorities in their home country before being submitted to the Ministry for certification.
MoFAIC certification in the UAE is (in most cases) a mandatory procedure to verify the authenticity of important certificates and documents required for employment, visa, study, medical or any other purpose.
All UAE certification services in the country, for documents issued outside or within the UAE, are provided by MoFAIC.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that the certification of educational certificates issued abroad requires ensuring that the document is verified and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and that the document is approved. Provided by UAE embassies or consulates abroad or foreign missions within the country.
All documents submitted for MoFAIC certification must be issued by the relevant authorities in the country.
Earlier, MoFAIC warned the UAE and students to watch out for false information asking for financial support to help those studying abroad.
The ministry said some fraudsters claiming to be from the UAE’s diplomatic missions in various countries or their employees sent messages via mobile phones or emails asking for financial support to help students get into various universities or pay tuition fees so they could complete their studies. their studies. The ministry urged the public not to respond to the messages as they are false.
Notably, the ministry provides smart authentication services for documents, commercial invoices, medical documents and marriage contracts through its official website and smart app.
Procedures for Accreditation of Certificates in UAE
>Open the MoFAIC registration portal
>Select customer type (individual or company)
> Enter information in required fields and submit
>People who already have a SmartPass account can log in using their credentials. If you don’t already have a SmartPass account, you may need to create one. A personal SmartPass account allows them to access all UAE smart services for nationals and foreigners.

Step 3: Apply for Review
