Huawei joins partners to boost its Network-as-a-Service offering

Huawei has released the latest innovative Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) products for the Middle East, helping enterprises in different industries lay a solid foundation for digital transformation.

These next-generation services will enable enterprise businesses from government, education, healthcare, retail, banking, manufacturing and other SMEs to keep pace with innovation, meet rapidly changing business needs, and optimize networks through a cloud-like subscription model Performance and user experience, Huawei said at a recent “Network as a Service Forum” held at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai.

The enterprise NaaS model allows enterprises to outsource the configuration, deployment, ongoing management, and decommissioning and end-of-life of their enterprise network. The benefits of the enterprise NaaS model include faster access to new technologies, simplified network deployment and management, and improved refresh cycles for enterprises to dynamically scale network components as needed.

Enterprise NaaS Market Matures

IDC predicts that the enterprise NaaS market will rapidly mature in 2022 and beyond, becoming an important way for enterprises to acquire, operate, and manage their networks. Close collaboration between technology vendors and their operator/MSP partners is critical to capitalizing on new growth opportunities driven by digitalization.

Len Padilla, senior research director at IDC, said at the event: “Huawei has clearly understood the need for enterprise networks as a service (NaaS). To meet this need, they are investing in systems and support for their network operator partners to enable them to able to meet the needs of current and future customers.”

Using Huawei’s NaaS products based on the CloudCampus MSP platform, operators/MSP partners can provide in-depth services to enterprise customers. CloudCampus MSPs combine AIOps and a unified infrastructure for wired, wireless and SD-WAN management, giving MSPs a single platform to manage all customers in their environment.

Build and deliver

The CloudCampus MSP platform features best-in-class network hardware, comprehensive APIs, and integration with hundreds of intelligent solutions provided by Huawei’s technology partners, enabling partners to quickly build and deliver various managed service products that meet customers’ specific needs .

Smart Solutions

PTCL is launching a range of smart solutions for the digital transformation of various verticals in Pakistan, such as workplaces, banks, educational institutions and healthcare.

In addition, he shared his experience with PTCL’s Smart HealthSuite solution, which integrates multiple technologies such as Fibre-to-the-Room, Wi-Fi 6, IoT asset tracking and patient record management for a better experience and higher reliability.

In the future, these smart solutions will provide one-stop, pay-as-you-go and cost-effective service models to help businesses effectively contribute to Pakistan’s digital vision.

Memorandum of Understanding with Ooredoo

During the forum, Ooredoo Business and Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding to launch a new generation of cloud-optimized managed network services called “Cloud Connect” in Kuwait to improve business performance and establish secure high-speed connections.

Through this partnership, Ooredoo Business will be able to leverage Huawei’s leading technologies such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, AI, SD-WAN, Passive Optical Local Area Network (POL), etc., to provide SD-LAN and SD-WAN managed services to its customers. These services offer multiple benefits, including a single pane of glass, technical consulting resources, and advanced service delivery. With this offering, customers will be able to focus on their core business without worrying about network complexity.
