Hub71 is Abu Dhabi’s global technology ecosystem. It has launched a community center of excellence. It aims to provide world-class projects for startups and founders at any stage of their life cycle to accelerate market access, talent recruitment and fundraising.
The Center of Excellence will also host annual events and touch points between Hub71 startups and their corporate and government partners to create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Hub71 opened a community center of excellence in its first community event focused on HealthTech, which included launching referrals and induction training. The “Founders Spotlight” campaign kicked off a new season, bringing together leaders from influential healthcare organizations, Dr. Jamal Mohamed Al Kabi, Deputy Minister of Health of Abu Dhabi (DoH); DoH Department of Health Care Quality Director Dr. Asma Al Mannaei; Khalid Mohammed Al Amadi, Senior Director of Informatics and Integration at Mubadala Health; Saqib Chaudhry-CDO-Head of Digital Innovation at Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi; Majd Abu Zant, CEO of UEMedical The CEO of Healthcare X.0, Michael Schelper, is the first health technology startup in Germany focusing on the digital transformation of oncology, and is cooperating with Hub71 to develop its value creation plan.
Together with Hub71’s HealthTech startup, this event enables entrepreneurs to directly connect with leading multinational medical institutions in Abu Dhabi and showcase their digital medical solutions that they have established and expanded in Abu Dhabi.
On behalf of Hub71, the Community Center of Excellence opened its doors to non-incentive startups, investors, companies and governments for the first time to benefit from the value created by the global technology ecosystem. The plan aims to attract and train key participants in the broader innovation ecosystem through a series of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activities, so as to find high-quality global technology startups. The Community Center of Excellence is open to organizations seeking to establish connections with entrepreneurial talents, and will promote further cooperation between like-minded organizations. The common mission is to promote innovation and further build Abu Dhabi into a leading technology center in the world.
