Hub71 is Abu Dhabi’s global technology ecosystem. It has been selected by the Abu Dhabi Resident Office (ADRO), a department of the Ministry of Economic Development (ADDED), to recognize outstanding scientific and technological talents for its entrepreneurs from Abu Dhabi on the Golden Visa.
Hub71 will review, evaluate and issue recognition letters to entrepreneurial talents on the Golden Visa for Entrepreneurs in accordance with the requirements set by ADDED and the Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA). Once the entrepreneur obtains the Hub71 endorsement letter, ADRO and ICA will manage inquiries related to the final visa approval and the issuance of the entrepreneur golden visa.
The visa is valid for five years and enables foreign citizens and entrepreneurs who are residents of the UAE to use the UAE as their long-term home to build and expand technological and innovative solutions.
In addition to entrepreneurs, their spouses, children and executive directors of up to three entrepreneurs can also be covered by the visa without the need for a national guarantor.
Innovation, entrepreneurship and advanced industries are clear priorities for the UAE as part of its ambition to create a diversified knowledge economy based on the UAE Centennial Plan 2071. Hub71 will review applications from entrepreneurs operating in various technological fields including financial technology, health technology, education technology, e-commerce, artificial intelligence and big data.

To qualify, the entrepreneur must have a successful project in the UAE with a minimum valuation of AED 500,000. Projects must also be related to specific economic sectors-information and telecommunications technology, financial services, health, medical and pharmaceutical industries, tourism, agriculture and food and agricultural products manufacturing, aviation and defense, petrochemicals, industry, and education.
For entrepreneurs whose projects focus on other fields, Hub71 has the right to approve their application as an ADDED accredited organization.
