Hyundai launches Azera flagship sedan in Middle East

[ad_1]

Hyundai Motor Corporation’s Middle East and Africa headquarters released the seventh-generation Azun flagship sedan in the Middle East market.

Since its launch in 1986, the new Azera has remained true to its refined, premium and luxurious origins, featuring bold lines and a range of technology and novel features to offer passengers exceptional performance and exceptional comfort.

Bryan Park, Head of Hyundai Middle East and Africa Headquarters, said: “A beautifully proportioned premium large sedan, the new Azera is reborn with a design that transcends generations and preferences, blending art and technology with impressive performance.”

striking aesthetics

“At Hyundai, we believe that driving should be an indulgence of the senses. The all-new Azera perfectly captures this philosophy, combining striking aesthetics with a range of innovative features to create a sanctuary on wheels. This is a true reflection of Hyundai’s commitment to redefining luxury in this country,” said Suliman Alzabin, Director of Hyundai UAE.

The vehicle’s exterior design is not only beautifully proportioned but also fluidly shaped, inspired by Hyundai Motor’s vision for the future of mobility.

The new Azun has a total length of 5,035mm, which is 45mm longer than the previous generation. With a 10mm longer wheelbase and 50mm longer rear overhang, the new Azera elegantly expresses its new proportions and results in a more spacious interior.

The car’s low height and pushed back fairing points and C-pillars convey a dynamic and distinctive premium style. From headlights to taillights, the all-new Azun presents smooth side panels and clean features. Its frameless doors and self-flush door handles add to the sophisticated look. Signature horizontal daytime running lights and positioning lights straddle the front of the sedan, boldly showing off its arrival.

interior space

Featuring a premium feel, intuitive technology and inspired detailing, the new Azera’s interior has been designed with a minimalist approach that focuses on ergonomics, intuitive technology and user convenience that promotes comfort and relaxation. The wraparound architecture flows from the dashboard.

The premium sedan puts the needs of its customers first, and this is most evident in the two well-equipped trim levels, ‘Base’ and ‘Calligraphy’. Base Trim is characterized by a slim ergonomic design, and the reduction of physical buttons improves ease of use, creating a minimalist, high-quality, and emotional space with an open sense of space.

The “Calligraphy” has the top interior of a flagship large sedan, leading a high-end image with differentiated and exclusive “Calligraphy-only” interiors and specifications.

Acoustic glass, detachable carpet and noise-reducing tires keep the interior peaceful. In addition, there are reclining seats and electrically controllable curtains for the second-row passengers.

mood lighting

Mood lighting applied to the crash pad trim glows in various colors depending on the scene, such as ignition pressure, driving modes and voice recognition, which adds to the feeling of being connected to the car and participating in the driving experience. The center console features an impressive 12.3-inch instrument cluster display and integrated navigation system, ergonomically and harmoniously placed above the 10.25-inch full-touch climate control controls, providing a high-tech look and feel.

The single-spoke steering wheel evokes memories of the first-generation Azun and integrates various controls for convenience, and four LED lights are applied to the center horn housing to work with the driver’s vehicle operation and voice recognition . The column-mounted electronic gear lever is now located behind the steering wheel, enabling intuitive operation by matching gearshift operation and direction of travel. Its relocation also gives the center console a clean look and improves the usability of the interior space.

The interior and colors of the new Azera are inspired by the natural world and the shades and patterns found in traditional Korean decorations, while eliminating artificiality and using environmentally friendly materials such as bamboo-based color-coated materials and natural vegetable-dyed treated leather.

Optimized Powertrain

The new Azera’s optimized powertrain and advanced safety features come with two engine options. The 3.5-liter GDi engine provides a maximum engine output of 300 ps and a maximum torque of 36.6 kgf·m. The 1.6-liter gasoline turbo-hybrid engine option provides a maximum output power of 180 ps and a maximum torque of 27.0 kgf·m.

The hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) variant of the new Azera features E-Motion Drive, including E-Comfort Drive mode for a smoother driving experience, and E-Dynamic Drive mode for dynamic and stable performance under acceleration and cornering .

This is the first model to adopt Hyundai’s new infotainment system Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), opening a new chapter in the smart travel experience. The new ccNC integrates navigation, cluster and head-up display (HUD) into one seamless graphical user interface.

The sedan also features an advanced in-car audio experience. Bose’s advanced sound system combined with “Sound True” algorithm tuned for Azera, which can convert low-quality media sources (such as MP3) into high-quality sound, Bose’s Center Point 360 surround technology provides a more immersive experience in the car sound experience.

security features

The all-new Azera is also equipped with a variety of state-of-the-art safety and convenience features, including those with potential health benefits. Seats and surfaces frequently touched by passengers are made of antimicrobial treated materials.

The new model offers the Hyundai Smart Sense system, which includes safety features such as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 1.5 (FCA1.5), Reverse Collision Avoidance Assist (PCA), Blind Spot Monitor (BVM) and Safe Exit Assist (SEA) Reduce driver stress and provide a more comfortable driving experience. Remote Intelligent Parking Assist helps drivers exit parking spaces with ease.
