Imkan launches second phase of prime residential community in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi-based Imkan Properties has launched the second phase of AlJurf Gardens, a carefully designed residential community development within the 370-hectare AlJurf masterplan.

The developers say AlJurf, located in Gantoot, between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, will introduce a new concept of community living for those seeking refuge in the fast-paced city life.

The master-planned development stretches 1.6 kilometers along the Arabian Gulf coastline, blending seamlessly with the natural environment, making AlJurf a unique residential destination.

In announcing the launch of the second phase, Imkan said this was mainly due to the overwhelming response to the first phase of the project and the growing popularity of AlJurf Gardens.

Following the success of the “Joud” and “Budoor” villa types in the first phase of AlJurf Gardens, Imkan released 98 villas in two different architectural styles in the second phase, offering 5 different types for end users and investors available.

The Joud type is inspired by the region’s rich tradition of Arabian homes with intimate courtyards, majlis and maqa’ads designed specifically for family living.

By contrast, the Bodor Villas, whose design is inspired by the basic elements of Arabian desert tents, will be available in 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom options.

According to Imkan, the first phase of the project will be completed by mid-2023.

Parvin Mansoor Al Awadhi, Head of Development at Imkan Properties, said: “The launch of Phase 2 of AlJurf Gardens demonstrates our commitment to providing investors and end-users with a quality residential destination amid the booming real estate demand in the UAE.”

He said the second phase would continue to focus on providing residents with an elevated lifestyle experience, combining the natural environment with modern and sophisticated Arabic-style architecture, allowing people to escape into a sanctuary that reconnects with nature.

“Since the inauguration of the first phase of AlJurf Gardens, Imkan has witnessed the development of villas due to the variety of building types and unique location, with world-class facilities among green walkable open spaces, wildlife and natural pristine beaches. The growing demand has contributed to our spirit of creating places full of souls and enriching people’s lives,” he added.

According to Imkan, AlJurf Gardens is at the heart of the masterplan and offers a remarkable array of amenities, including a private marina, private beach and a large central park spanning the community with play areas and sports facilities.

It added that the AlJurf masterplan features countless amenities including marinas, beaches, mosques, private schools, retail shops, restaurants, boutique hotels, parks, heritage sites and a canal, adding to 8km of prime waterfront real estate.
