The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, Miral and teamLab, an interdisciplinary Tokyo-based arts group known for its unique artistic vision, will develop the buildings and facilities. Construction of the project is expected to be completed in 2024.
However, for the next three weeks until July 17, community members can enjoy a preview activation at Mamsha Al Saadiyat. Abu Dhabi-based teamLab Phenomena gave Khaleej Times a sneak peek ahead of its public opening with limited-day activation starting Friday.
The journey begins with “Waves of Light”, a continuous looping digital installation. Then there is the “resonance microcosm” of the cured light color, which can be experienced by putting your hand on it.
