Immersive experiences are calling as SeaWorld Abu Dhabi attraction prepares to open next year

A research and rescue center, located next to the Sea Life theme park, will open this year. It will support regional and global conservation efforts, providing a knowledge hub focused on native and marine living ecosystems in the Arabian Gulf.

The center will be led by marine scientists, veterinarians, animal care professionals, rescue experts and educators who will work with peers, environmental groups, regulators and academic institutions to influence long-term conservation efforts in the region.

Built on five indoor floors with a total area of ​​approximately 183,000 square meters, the Sea Life theme park is in the final stages of completion of the construction of indoor themed guest environments, habitats, rides and immersive experiences. Leveraging SeaWorld’s more than 55 years of experience operating a marine life theme park, the habitat and ecosystem built exclusively for the animals that will be called SeaWorld Abu Dhabi was designed and built using the latest technology, the developers said in a statement. .

The park will feature “the largest and most expansive” multi-species marine life aquarium in the region, as well as immersive experiences and interactive exhibits. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s central “One Ocean” realm connects six different marine environments throughout the park. Inside the central hub, guests will experience ocean stories as part of an immersive media experience that transports them from place to place, while they encounter the ocean’s diverse marine life and learn about a current How it affects us all.

Animals in the park will be cared for by a team of zoologists, veterinarians, nutritionists and animal experts.
