Amidst the many controversies surrounding Pathaan’s Besharam Rang, Yash Raj Films is set to release the film’s second song titled Jhoome Jo Pathaan.first look of the song Shah Rukh Khan Deepika Padukone was released on Tuesday.
The look featured Shah Rukh Khan with her hair tied up in a white shirt and Deepika Padukone in a brown suit and silver boots. The two are posing against a classic yellow car. The song is set to be released on December 22. During a recent #AskSRK session, the star revealed that Arijit Singh sang the song.
Director Siddharth Anand said in a statement that the song embodies the spirit of the titular character, Pathaan. “Jhoome Jo Pathaan is an ode to the Pathaan spirit, performed by the incomparable Shah Rukh Khan. The song embodies the personality of the super spy Pathaan, and his swagger is infectious. His energy, his vibe, his confidence can Make anyone dance to the music,” he said.

Talking about the song’s music, Anand said, “This song is a modern fusion of Qawaali, a celebration of Pathaan style and glamour. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a musical beat from SRK and we hope people will enjoy watching it to see their favorite superstar shaking their legs with an attitude to die for.”
The filmmakers released the film’s trailer in November, followed by the release of the first song, Besharam Rang. The song caused a lot of controversy because of the color of the actors’ costumes, and many politicians objected and demanded that the visuals be changed. They also threatened to release the film in several states.
Pathaan marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the silver screen after 2018’s Zero. In a recent conversation with cricketer Robin Uthappa, SRK said he was feeling better after returning to work after his leave. “When I started working again, I had a strange craving and newness about work. I’ve been working for the past 32 years and I never thought I’d be out of work. But it happened. But Since I got back, I feel bigger, better, faster, happier. I really like it when I hear my shot is ‘okay.’ I feel better,” he said.
