On Tuesday, November 8, eager stargazers across the country were greeted by a stunning sight as a rare phenomenon known as a “blood moon” and a penumbral lunar eclipse were visible.
A glimpse of this celestial phenomenon is extra special, as residents will not be able to witness the Blood Moon again for the next three years. After tomorrow’s solar eclipse, the next total lunar eclipse won’t happen again until March 14, 2025, according to NASA.
