Increased demand for UAE-China flights!Airlines increase international seat capacity

[ad_1]

At the end of last year, we saw an increasing number of COVID cases in China. But the curve is gradually flattening, indirectly increasing demand for travel. The UAE-China route has witnessed major travel demand. So airlines have been looking to increase seat capacity and flights on this route in order to upgrade. The news came during the auspicious time of Chinese New Year.

Airlines add flights on UAE-China route

To increase the number of flights to China, Etihad Airways will launch a weekly flight from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai. Passengers can choose between five weekly direct flights between Abu Dhabi and China. In addition, there is one weekly flight to Beijing and two weekly flights to Guangzhou.

Compared with January, February and March, no more than 2.9% more flights were flown to China last week. On average less than 100 flights per month. Hints that China is easing quarantine rules from the first week of January have persuaded carriers to make major revisions to their timetables. In fact, there have been no major changes to regular entry services for the rest of the year.

The lifting of China’s borders in January will accelerate the region’s economic recovery, IATA predicts. Removing flight restrictions is a good development.
Emirates said it was committed to meeting demand for travel to and from China. Airlines expect tourism to quickly return to pre-pandemic levels.

Currently, the airline flies between Dubai and Guangzhou in Guangdong province four times a week using the A380 aircraft.

The best part is people have been waiting to travel to China to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Dubai is home to expats as well as Chinese. The loudness of family celebrations is obviously important to people. Although Dubai and other emirates of the UAE have big celebration plans for Chinese New Year.
