The businessman and husband of actor Shilpa Shetty has been charged in various bills.
According to sources, actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra will soon face a Money Laundering and Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) case because the Enforcement Agency (ED) may file a lawsuit against him under these laws.
Kundera, 45, was arrested by Mumbai police along with 11 others on July 19 on suspicion of making pornographic films. At present, the case involves suspected production and distribution of pornographic movies through some applications.
During a search while investigating the case, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch found a hidden cabinet in the offices of Viaan and JL Stream in Anteri Kundera.
Kundera was designated by the Mumbai police as the main accomplice and charged him (IPC) under the Indian Criminal Code 420 (deception), 34 (common intent), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertising and display). Except for the relevant parts of the IT Law and the Female Indecent Representative (Prohibition) Law.
On July 20, the Mumbai court sent Kundera to police detention until July 23. His detention was later extended to July 27.
