The issuance of the PCC no longer requires the local police clearance certificate.
The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has simplified the procedure for obtaining a police clearance certificate (PCC), which is a proof of good behavior.
The delegation stated that those seeking services do not need to obtain a permit from the local UAE police to issue PCCs from India. Such certificates are mainly used for work, study, immigration, obtaining permits, etc.
The embassy said: “The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi no longer needs a local police clearance certificate (PCC) to issue Indian PCCs to Indian service seekers in order to simplify various procedures for consular affairs related to Indian nationals living in the UAE.”
From now on, anyone seeking a PCC can go directly to BLS International, which manages the visa and passport application process.
“Therefore, any Indian service seeker who needs an Indian PCC can contact BLS International, the embassy’s outsourcing service provider, without the need for a local PCC. This step of the embassy is designed to help people seeking services in India save money and time, especially It is in this Covid-19 pandemic situation,” the delegation added.
In June, BLS International moved to the Shams Boutik Shopping Center on Al Reem Island. It continues to provide quality lounge services at its facilities in the Al Muhairi building.
In addition, earlier this year, a new center was opened in the Musafa Industrial Zone behind the Danube Homes and Abu Dhabi Labor Court.
