Indian expats can now use visa and passport services even on Sundays

Abu Dhabi: Indian nationals in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now submit applications for passport and visa services on all days including Sunday, local media reported.

BLS International Service Ltd, an outsourced service provider to the Government of India and diplomatic missions, will operate 7 days a week from 22 January 2023.

The three centers in Dubai and Sharjah will be open 24/7 for the submission of passport and visa applications.

Except for local government holidays, the center is open for consular services throughout the year.

“I reiterate our commitment to work for your well-being and well-being. To this end, overseas service providers for passport and visa services have been open all days of the week since last week.”

Khaleej Times quoted Indian Consul General Dr Aman Puri as saying.

On Sundays, applicants can submit the completed application form and required supporting documents online with an appointment from 9am to 3pm, except for Tatkal, emergencies (medical, death); seniors; who can Apply on a walking basis.

Applicants are asked to make an appointment with BLS at a given time associate.
